Seascape Towne Centre Moo La-La Ice CreamLate December 2016, Seascape Resort announced two additonal venues that will be opening in the new Seascape Towne Centre: Moo La-La Ice Cream & Fudge and Thrills Lazer Tag & Arcade.

Thrills Laser Tag & Arcade, sister company to Blast Arcade & Laser Maze at Sandestin Resort, will be a one-of-a-kind unique experience, featuring a 3,500 square foot, 2-level laser tag arena, which can accommodate up to 24 players per game. Thrills Laser Tag will have the ability to play multiple game formats, such as Zombies, Capture the Flag, Gladiators and more. The arcade will feature 70 player stations using the most advanced games on the market and area’s largest redemption counter filled with current prizes. Thrills will be a great venue to entertain all ages, as well as host birthday parties, groups, companies and team building events.

Recently voted Best Sweet Treats in Destin, Moo La-La Ice Cream & Fudge will be opening its second location in the new Seascape Towne Centre, adjacent to Thrills. Along with its well-known 24 flavors of ice cream, specialty sundaes and shakes, Moo La-La will be producing its own fudge, using a 52 year old recipe voted as one of the Top 5 in the US. Moo La-La will also feature fresh made waffle cones daily and other assorted chocolate covered treats.


Acme Oyster House and Outdoor Attractions

According to an Oct 14th press release, Acme Oyster House and Aerial Entertainment will be part of the new Seascape Towne Centre that is scheduled to open Spring 2017. More great seafood and outdoor recreation will draw additional visitors to Seascape Resort and the Destin area.

“We’re very excited about the arrival of Acme Oyster House. It’s a great fit for our resort and we know our Seascape guests will love their authentic New Orleans seafood.” Seascape Resort’s General Manager Jay Nettles commented. With nearly 15 years of success in the Destin area, Acme Management Group is hoping to capitalize on the prominent location of the Seascape Towne Centre with visibility from Hwy 98 and easy access from Seascape residents and visitors.

Outdoor activity specialists, Aerial Entertainment, will have several attractions located in the outdoor events plaza at Seascape Towne Centre including a 9-pole, 2 level linear ropes course, which will be the largest in the area and a “Stairway to Heaven” climbing feature and a hole-in-one chipping challenge. And, boat captains of any age will be able to captain their own remote control boat at one of the life-sized steering stations on the adjacent lake.

The 55,000 square foot Seascape Resort Towne Centre is slated to open in the just before Spring Break in 2017, with numerous retail and restaurant tenants to be announced. Some plans include a large scale tiki bar, an ice cream parlor and other food and beverage offerings.

Seascape Resort is a 300 acre golf, beach and tennis resort, in Miramar Beach, Florida and boasts the largest stretch of privately owned white sand beach in the area. Area Sales Activity Increases in 2018 

Miramar Beach condos sales volume increased 41% during the first half of 2018 compared to the 2017. Average price increased 21% and price per square foot increased 5%. 

Three Boardwalk Villas units sold so far in 2018. The average price was lower than in 2017 and may be due to the units being 1 bedroom units. The two units sold in 2017 were updated 3 bedroom units. However, price per square foot remained steady. 

Lakefront Villas sold January through June of 2018 had a 33% increase in average price and 14% increase in price per square foot. The units sold at 98% of list price.

Sales Continue to Improve in 2017

Miramar Beach condos sold during 2017 had a 7% increase in average price, 6% increase in price per sq ft and units were on the market 50 days less. There were 12% more units sold compared to 2016.

Two Boardwalk Villas units sold in 2017 at $47 more per sq ft! Amanda Abbott listed and sold Boardwalk Villas, Unit 284, which sold for $58 more per sq ft compared to 2016. The average price for sold units also increased 7%.

Lakefront Villas sold in 2017 showed a 10% increase in average price and the amount of units sold doubled over 2016. Amanda Abbott listed and sold Unit 133, which sold fast and was the highest priced sale for a 3br/2ba floorplan in 2017.

Seascape – 2017 Mid-Year Update

Sales Continue to Improve in 2017

The Miramar Beach real estate market is continuing to improve this year. During the first half of 2017, average sales prices per square foot increased 3.4% for Miramar Beach condos, units were on the market 47 days less and 58 more units were sold compared to 2016.

Amanda Abbott listed and sold Boardwalk Unit 284, which sold for $58 more per square foot compared to 2016. The average price increased 14% and price per sq ft increased 31%.

Seascape’s new Towne Center has opened and features a variety of attractions including Acme Oyster Bar, Thrills Arcade and more. We expect buyers to show more interest in Seascape units with this new entertainment and shopping venue close by.
